The Classroom Program
GATE students are served with differentiated curriculum instruction in subject areas where their classroom performace exceeds the California State Standards.
A Student Differentiated Learning Plan is agreed upon between the teacher, student and parent at the Fall parent-teacher conference and outlines modifications to the core curriculum in areas where the student is performing beyond state standards.
Where possible, clustering allows GATE students to interact with other GATE students within the regular classroom setting.
